Who We Are.

Family Oriented.

We are committed to creating a church that is warm, welcoming and “feels like family”. We want to be known for our generosity and hospitality. We believe in real, deep relationships with one another, founded on love, honesty and respect. We aim for the older and younger generations to work and build friendships together too. (2 Thessalonians 1:3)

Grace-Based Approach.

We want our church to be a place where we can receive healing and help for the broken parts of our lives, an environment where grace abounds and the truth of God’s word is illuminated and practically applied. (John 1:14 , Romans 5:17)

Holy Spirit Powered.

We believe in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit and its positive influence on “one another” relationships. We also believe that the Holy Spirit guides us individually and as a congregation as we strive to follow Jesus. (John 14:26)

Balanced Mission.

We strive to live a balanced and true life of a disciple of Jesus through the mission (preaching the Good News of Jesus) and serving the poor. Our goal is to share the full gospel and live as dedicated disciples of Jesus, imitating his heart, mission, and servitude. (Matthew 28:19-21)

We feel called to help the poor, locally and abroad. We are proud to have established an orphanage and Micro Loans project in Haiti (OasisHaiti.org). We also support the local community through helping a food bank program and directly helping those in need. (Galatians 2:10)

Passionate Worship.

We are called to worship our Creator with passion through singing, music, prayer and giving – not just on Sunday but every day of the week. (John 4:24)

Team Leadership.

We believe in collaboration between evangelists (vision) and elders (shepherds), working together in a spirit of humility, while pulling in young men and women that we are raising up, in a biblical leadership concept. (1 Peter 5:1-6)

We also want to foster teamwork, respect and unity amongst all the leaders in their various capacities as each leader uses their strengths and talents to support one another while serving the church together. We strive not to tolerate “church politics” amongst us.

Personally Thrive.

We want our church to be a place where people can flourish as they use their God-given talents and go after their dreams. We strive to help people grow and mature in their faith and in their personal relationship with God. (Ephesians 2:10)

Relevant.

We strive to be culturally relevant to the world we live in. We want people to see how God and the church can relate to their everyday lives and how the Bible has the answers to their needs. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23)

Heaven Bound.

We believe our ultimate goal as Christians is to get to heaven; therefore, we eagerly seek to set our hearts and minds on heaven, and not be caught up in worldly matters. (Colossians 3:1-2)

Complete Unity.

We are an inter-generational, culturally diverse community where we want people to feel accepted and valued for who they are. We want to have a culture of transparency in order to build trust amongst each other. We are called by the Lord to have – not just a good bond, but complete unity. (John 17:20-23)
